PURPOSE
To provide opportunities for Transformational Teaching, Biblical Community, & Missional Living.
Transformational Teaching – Life Group leaders teach people, not lessons. The goal is not the transfer of facts (information) but changed lives (transformation).
Biblical Community – Discipleship best happens in the context of relationships. Biblical community is a safe place where followers of Christ can share their failures, hurts, and struggles, with the assurance that those in that community will offer love and support and grace when needed.
Missional Living – God’s calling on every group member is to be a missionary where they work, live, and play. As followers of Christ, and in following His example, Life Groups provide accountability and encouragement as we strive for missional living.

FORMAT
Each week, Life Groups would meet for an hour or hour and a half for a time of discipleship through the chosen curriculum and Bible reading.
Per Semester (One night of each month) Life Groups would be encouraged to:

- Have their group meet in a public place to be visible to the community (Examples: Starbucks, Park, etc.)
- Plan and serve on an evangelistic service project (Examples: Door to door evangelism, hand out tracts in a mall, park evangelism, etc.)
- Plan and serve on a community service/outreach project (Examples: Serve meals to the homeless, clean up at a park, visit a nursing home, etc.)

Spring/Summer – May/June/July

Dec – Life Groups Together & Leaders Training
Apr – Life Groups Together & Leaders Training
Aug – Life Groups Together & Leaders Training
Curriculum must be approved by the KBC staff and cover one semester (3 months). During the semester breaks, all the life groups would come together for one Sunday PM at the church to share and celebrate how God has moved in their life group that semester. Semester Breaks would also be used for leader trainings as needed.

Once the Life Group Leaders/Hosts have been settled upon, an online registration form will be sent out for church members to sign up for a life group that best suits them (based on leader, location, day, & time).
