Dr. Soritau is the Vice President at Emanuel University of Oradea Romania (the only accredited, conservative university in Europe). He received a B.S. degree in Biblical Studies from Tennessee Temple University (Chattanooga, Tennessee) and a B.S. in Pastoral Theology from the College of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, North Carolina). He also received his Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages, specializing in Homiletics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest) in 1999 and in 2012 received his PhD in Theology (Magda Cum Laude) from Babes Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, Romania.
For years he served as a deacon at Emanuel Baptist Church in Oradea (former Second Baptist Church), while working with their youth for about 3 years. Now he serves as pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Mierlau, Romania in Bihor County, near Oradea. From 2006 until 2011 he was an adjunct professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where he taught both Introduction to Homiletics and Advanced Expository Preaching. Since 1990 he has preached in numerous churches throughout the United States, holding revivals, Bible conferences, and missions conferences. He is an active member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Homiletic Theological Society. He has been married to Raelene (a Floridian from West Palm Beach) for 22 years and together they have four children: Elisei (Elisha) 18, Victoriana (Tori) 16, Karis 13, and Isaiah Luke 7. |
