As concerns increase this week surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are committed to doing whatever we can to provide a safe environment for you and your family. We continue to actively monitor the local and national situation with the coronavirus and have the following updates at this time.
All Sunday Morning & Evening Worship services, Sunday School classes and Wednesday activities are cancelled until further notice, this includes all weekday events, meetings, etc.
We will broadcast the Pastor’s Sunday morning sermon during the duration of this pandemic. To view the sermon on Sunday please click on the link below, www.kempsvillebaptist.com/sermons.
You can still give your tithes and offerings in one of three ways: mail to the church through the postal service, drop off at the church, or online at www.kempsvillebaptist.com/give.
The church office hours have changed. The hours are Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and CLOSED on Friday.
Due to the recommendation of the CDC, the Pastoral Staff will not be visiting hospitals and nursing homes. However, we want to know about any upcoming surgeries and hospitalizations of our church family. Please contact the church office, 757-499-5457, and one of our Pastors will reach out to you.
Canceling events and gatherings is a tough decision, but we have been guided by two principles: (1) honoring our governing officials, who have urged extreme caution and asked us to limit large gatherings, and (2) loving our neighbors, many of who whom may be vulnerable to COVID-19. We want to do our part to ensure the health and safety of our community. Please stay in contact with your church family, pray for each other and if needed, lend a hand. As we continue to monitor the situation, we will work hard to keep you updated. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.
We love you and we are praying for God to heal our nation, Pastor Kelly, Bro. Ken, and Bro. Brian
