FAMILY MISSION OPPORTUNITY
MONDAY, JULY 16 - FRIDAY, JULY 20
We are excited to take Vacation Bible School up to Splash Camp on the eastern shore again this year. Each day we will leave from the church between 7:15 and 7:30 in the morning to arrive at Cape Charles Baptist by 9:00am and will finish around 12:00pm. After that we will eat a sack lunch and be back to KBC by 1:30pm. We will be taking the church buses so there's no need to drive yourself and pay the toll. Also this is a great way for families to serve together and we encourage you to bring your children ages 5 and up. We will work on a case-by-case basis if you have children 4 and under and still would like to participate. There are several ways you can help. Please sign up below by filling out the volunteer survey.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Directors- these volunteers need to be in charge of their specific area- whether it be snack, Bible Story, Missions, or Crafts. We would expect that during our week of VBS at KBC (June 24-28) you would get familiar with your area. So that way you can see the content and figure out what materials you would need in order to take it to Splash Camp. Helpers- these volunteers can be put in one of two places. Either with a specific age group and you would rotate with your class to each rotation or placed inside a rotation such as missions and you would stay with missions throughout the entire morning. Snack- It's pretty obvious but you would be helping prepare and give out snacks when a specific class comes to this rotation. Bible Story- Again pretty obvious but you would be helping teach the children the lesson each day. This could include helping act out the story or reading some of it. Missions- In this rotation you would be helping the children learn about missionaries. This is based on the VBS curriculum we have for this year and usually has a dvd to help the kids learn. Crafts- You would need to see our VBS at KBC and learn how to make these crafts, then be able to organize what materials you would need to teach it to the ones at Splash Camp. Games- You would be helping lead the children in all types of games (inside or outside). Music- These volunteers would be helping the kids learn the VBS songs and the motions that go with them. Good News Station- Volunteers would help teach the children about the Gospel using a different tool/strategy each day. FORMS
*All participants need to fill out a Medical Form. **All participants going without a parent need to fill out the Parental Authorization Form.
