Wednesday Night Dinner

Come enjoy a home cooked meal, salad bar, dessert, and beverage at a nominal cost before Bible study. Reservations will need to be turned into the church office no later then 12 noon on Monday for dinner on Wednesday. Meals are served from 5:00PM- 6:15 PM. If you must cancel a reservation, please call the church office. Standing reservations are recommended but are not required. We do allow a SMALL number of walk-in meals at an additional cost.

Movie Night

Come experience KBC Cinema Café where the movie and popcorn are free. We show a variety films once a month on Friday. Café concessions open at 6:00 p.m. with dining and cartoons. The feature film starts at 7:00 pm You can also register to win the movie at the end of the show! Upwards Basketball and Cheerleading

Upwards is an evangelistic sports ministry which is specifically designed for kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls, which seeks to develop self-esteem of each participant while teaching sportsmanship, character, athleticism, and respect for authority in every situation. Upward is a ten week program and runs from mid-January through March each year.

Valentine Banquet

This is a romantic evening for two. For married couples. This event takes place the Friday before Valentine’s with a wonderful evening planned in a Christian Atmosphere. The evening starts with photos, followed by appetizers and live music before dinner. Dinner will take you to a wonderful garden with great food, fellowship, and entertainment. The evening will conclude with a special gift for all couples. Reservations and payment is required the Monday prior by noon.

Crafts for Missions

We are a group of crafter’s. We meet weekly to make the following items: Afghans for nursing homes Baby sets for pregnancy centers Hat and scarf sets for seamen Footies for the home bound.

Food Pantry

We distribute supplemental and/or emergency food to persons in need. Provide hands on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors. Educate the public about the issues of hunger in our area.

Christmas Festival

Experience the true reason for the season with KBC’s Christmas Festival! There will be activity booths for children where they can make crafts, ornaments and decorate cookies. Also, the entire family can sign cards for our troops! Remember the day by having your photo taken with your family in the Live Nativity. (with real animals) You can also enjoy the movie “The Candy Cane Story” following the activities. Free and open the the public.

Trunk and Treat

A Halloween alternative where children to 5th grade can dress in their favorite non-scary costume and walk from trunk to trunk in our parking lot and receive treats. This is free and open to the community. Candy donations are greatly appreciated.

Thanksgiving Dinner

This event is always the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The whole family takes part in a traditional meal at a nominal cost per person. Reservations and payment are required the Friday before. Come experience Thanksgiving with God’s people with service to follow. Dinner is served at 5:00PM to 6:00PM.

Easter Festival

Free and open to the public at Historic Pleasant Hall. The event is always the Saturday before Easter. Children from preschool to 5th grade enjoy hunting for eggs on the grounds at 10AM. Then following the hunt the children get popcorn, lemonade, and a gift and watch "Veggie tales Easter Carol". Door prizes are also given out at the end of the show which concludes at 12 noon. Come enjoy this tradition with your family and see what spring animal will help in the celebration.

Linda Hargrove Memorial Golf Tournament

This event takes place at Riverfront Golf Club and is for men and women. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes with cart, buffet, driving range, contest and prizes. Reservation and payment required.

Men's Pinehurst Golf Trip

Join us for an exciting three days of Golf on three of Pinehurst’s best courses. Any golfer’s dream! Don’t miss this great time of fellowship, Bible Study, special music and of course great golf! Reservations and payment required.

God and Country Day Church Picnic

This event is always the Sunday before the 4th of July following morning service at KBC. Lunch is served at 12:00 noon. The menu is traditional:

Basketball Camp

This is offered the last two weeks of July for ages K-6th grade. Kids have fun learning about basketball and meeting other children in the community in a great Christian atmosphere.

Family Night at the Tides Game

Tickets include reserved seating, buffet meal and lots of fun. Come enjoy a great evening with the KBC family at the park.

Country Fall Festival

Free and open to the public rain or shine at KBC.

The festival is always the 1st Saturday in October from 10AM to 2PM. The event is fun for all ages. Wear your favorite farm fashions. The event is our way of giving back to the community.
