DAY FORTY - April 4 (Easter Sunday) - MEDITATION

"I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds." - Psalm 77:12
-Creating the heavens and earth
-Forming us from the dust
-Parting the Red Sea
-Feeding 2.5 million in the desert
-Feeding them for 40 years!!
-Destroying the walls of Jericho
-Defeating the giant Goliath
-Showdown on Mount Carmel
-Providing a whale for Jonah
-Shutting the mouths of lions

VICTORY IN JESUS!
The victory is yours. Claim it! It is your birthright. Browning said, "The best is yet to be."

Why not stop right now and thank the Lord for the victory that He has given to you through
the Lord Jesus Christ?

DAY THIRTY-EIGHT - April 2 (Friday) - PETITION

The Fruit of Self-Control
“He who is slow toanger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who
takes a city.”  - Proverbs 18:32

Lord, I trust that You will reveal in me the passions of Your heart and enable me to restrain the
passions and appetites in me that do not conform to Your character...

 Keep me from being tempted or tricked into doing or saying anything that is not consistent with Your will.

DAY THIRTY-SEVEN - April 1 (Thursday) - CONFESSION

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will
have mercy.” - Proverbs 28:13 

Sometimes people are knee-deep in sin and they are just waiting to get caught instead
of “fessing up.”  The Bible tells us that we are to confess and forsake that sin.  Yes, with that
confession could come much disappointment from others, embarrassment, shame, natural
consequences, but MERCY!  Maybe not so much from humans, but really if God showers mercy
on us, who cares what others try to throw on us. Pray today for the Lord to search your heart and
reveal to you everything that’s not of Him.  Remember nothing is hidden from God. - Matthew 6:6

DAY THIRTY-SIX - March 31 (Wednesday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

“Praise the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are greatl.”  - Psalm 104:1

Give praise for our pastor, staff, support staff, and all of our church leaders.

DAY THIRTY-FIVE - March 30 (Tuesday) - MEDITATION

“Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.”  - Psalm 4:4

Have you gotten angry yet today?  You probably will.  Let’s remember that the Bible is not instructing us
here to get angry.  It’s focus here in Psalm 4:4 is to show us how we respond.  Why does it say meditate…
on your bed?  First of all I think of the privacy of your bed.  Remove yourself from the situation so that you
can calm down.  Then, I think the bed helps us remember that when we’re sleeping we are at one of
the most peaceful places in our day.  Maybe not so much for you snorers, but think about it.  In our
anger remember the peacefulness of sleep and rest.  Don’t forget to resolve conflict.  “Don’t let
the sun go down…” - Ephesians 4:26 Hmmm? Coincidence- I think not!  Pray that God will show you
the response of your anger.  Take the steps:   1) Get away,    2) Think and Pray,    3) Don’t delay.

DAY THIRTY-FOUR - March 29 (Monday) - INTERCESSION

Longing for God!
Pray that our church will have a longing for God's power and presence in the midst of His people.
We are never more fulfilled than when our longing for God is met by His presence in our lives.

"My soul longs, yea, faints for the courts of the Lord..." - Psalm 84:2

DAY THIRTY-THREE - March 28 (Sunday) - PETITION

The Fruit of Goodness
“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”  - I Corinthians 4:2

Lord, I trust that You always supply all that I need to serve You—Your Word, Your Spirit,
Your gifts, and Your power.

Grant that I may be consistently obedient to Your Word, and unwavering in my commitment to be
faithful in the use of these resources You have provided.

DAY THIRTY-TWO - March 27 (Saturday) - CONFESSION

“And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said,“O Lord, great and awesome
God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His
commandments…” - Daniel 9:4

Even Daniel, a man of awesome integrity, made confession unto the Lord.  Notice it was in a prayer,
and the start of it was telling God how great He is.  He then focused on how God keeps His promises
and is so merciful.  He then reminds himself to keep the Lord’s commands.  Pray today with this
focus and make it your prayer today.  Be specific!

DAY THIRTY-ONE - March 26 (Friday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

The grace is God’s: the faith is ours. God gave us the free will with which to choose.
God gave us the capacity to believe and trust. Therefore within every conversion there is the
working of both the divine and the human.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that  not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
not of works, lest any man should boast.”  - Ephesians 2:8,9

DAY THIRTY - March 25 (Thursday) - MEDITATION

“I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes
diligent search." - Psalm 77:6

What is your favorite Christian song or hymn? Take time to read the words again today. Take
time to listen to it if it’s on your CD or I-pod. As you listen to it or read the words, reflect
and ask yourself,“Why is this my favorite?” I hope it’s not just the melody, but that you
have been able to connect some way to the words in the song. Remember to have a song,
so when “the night” comes there will always be a song in your heart. God will use His songs
to help point us back to Him.

DAY TWENTY-NINE - March 24 (Wednesday) - INTERCESSION

"...Jesus, who gave hinself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world,
according to the will of God and our Father. ” - Galatians 1:4

Pray that God will place a wall of protection around or church protecting us from the evil one
who would try to hinder and hamper God's work.

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT - March 23 (Tuesday) - PETITION

The Fruit of Goodness
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your
Father in heaven.” - Matthew 5:44-45

Lord, I trust You to fill me with a generous attitude that is always looking to help others. Grant
that I may display integrity, honesty and compassion to others. Help me to always do the right
thing even when doing the right thing does not feel like it should.

DAY TWENTY-SEVEN - March 22 (Monday) - CONFESSION

"Now therefore, make confession to the LORD God of your fathers, and do His will; separate
yourselves from the peoples of the land…” - Ezra 10:11

Our confession to the Lord opens up the lines of communication with our Savior. I John 1:9 and
Romans 10:9-10 remind us that confession is the beginning of salvation. Next comes forgiveness.
Now that Jesus has marked us as forgiven, His grace covers us. Now, when we sin, we come
before the Lord confessing what we’ve done and in the same breath thanking Him for the blood
that covered that sin. Remember that when we repent, it means to turn. When we turn to the cross,
we’ve turned away from the ways of this world.

DAY TWENTY-SIX - March 21 (Sunday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

Self Giving or Self Getting
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy
sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” - Romans 12:1

May our worship at KBC be with one heart joined to give to the Lord, offering ourselves as living sacrifices. 
May it not focus on the act of receiving from the buffet of our likes and dislikes.  May each and every day
be worship rooted from our time at the foot of the cross.

DAY TWENTY-FIVE - March 20 (Saturday) - MEDITATION

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so
a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on
His name.” - Malachi 3:16

Where is your “Book of Remembrance?” Do you have one? No matter how old you are, take time
today to start a book in which you write all the ways God has moved and worked in your life. The
next generations need to be reminded of how God still shows His awesome power in our day and
time. It’s not about you and it’s not about me, it’s about His story and His Glory! Pray and meditate
on these times in your life thanking Him for everything!

DAY TWENTY-FOUR - March 19 (Friday) - INTERCESSION

REVIVAL!!!
We have not seen a revival in America since shortly after the turn of the twentieth century. But as the hymn
says, "Lord send a revival and let it begin in me." If we are to see a revival in our nation, it must begin in
the herats of individual believers. What are you doing in your daily walk with God that will bring revival in your life?

DAY TWENTY-THREE - March 18 (Thursday) - PETITION

The Fruit of Kindness & Gentleness
"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest
for your souls." - Matthew 11:29.

Lord, I trust that You will form in me that humble and gentle attitude that is patiently submissive
in every offense, while being free of any desire for revenge or retribution.

Grant that I may have the humble graciousness to endure injustice, disgrace, and mistreatment
without retaliation, bitterness, or vengeance (Philippians 4:5).

Show me how I have been harsh or unkind to others.

DAY TWENTY-TWO - March 17 (Wednesday) - CONFESSION

"Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” - Psalm 119:15

Sins of omission are the failures of obeying Christ’s commands or conforming our character to His
image. Some examples are: neglecting Bible reading and prayer, failing to witness, failure to tithe,
neglecting regular worship, refusing to use your spiritual gifts in the ministries of our church, etc.

When you confess a sin of omission, be sure you take concrete steps to correct it. Confession is not
genuine until you make the commitment to forsake the sin (Proverbs 28:13).

DAY TWENTY-ONE - March 16 (Tuesday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

Praying without ceasing!
“Pray without ceasing ... and may the very God of peace sanctify you wholly....” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17,23

Ask the Holy Spirit to take inventory of your heart and mind. Confess those sins that have been acknowledged
in your heart with thanksgiving.

DAY TWENTY - March 15 (Monday) - MEDITATION

"I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.” - Psalm 119:15

A “precept” is a command or direction given as a rule of action or conduct. Today, meditate on the things
God has told us. He has taught us how to live. Colossians 3 is a great place to meditate on how He wants
us to show the world a different response. Pray that God will give you opportunities to live out His commands,
directions, and rules of conduct in your life, so that others will know you are different from the rest of the world.

DAY NINETEEN - March 14 (Sunday) - INTERCESSION

Who Me?... Be a disciple?
“So no one can become a disciple unless he first sits down and counts his blessings and then renounces
them all for me.” - Luke 14:33

Commit yourself to be one of his disciples not by word but by deed.

DAY EIGHTEEN - March 13 (Saturday) - PETITION

THE FRUIT OF PATIENCE
“...those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they
shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” - Isaiah 40:31

Lord, I believe You fill me with the powerful ability to wait upon You and calmly endure hardships. Teach me
patience and compassion in all my relationships with others that I may be an instrument of strength and unity
(Ephesians 4:1-3).

In what way am I impatient or complaining?

DAY SEVENTEEN - March 12 (Friday) - CONFESSION

SINS OF COMMISSION AND TRANSGRESSION
In a broad sense, these are sins of doing something wrong or breaking God’s laws. Examples of such
sins are: adultery, fornication, stealing or dishonesty, assaulting someone, going to sinful places, watching
adult rated movies, destructive habits (such as smoking, drinking, overeating or eating unhealthy foods),
reading unclean literature, putting recreational or material things ahead of God, idolatry, financial dishonesty,
cheating employers, etc.

If you will be honest with God, He will reveal things that He wants to change. God’s grace will cover them
all (I John 1:9).

DAY SIXTEEN - March 11 (Thursday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

Jesus said, "It is written, that my house is the house of prayer.” - Luke 19:44

Ask God to help our church to become a church of prayer for the lost and the down and out!

DAY FIFTEEN - March 10 (Wednesday) - MEDITATION

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” - Psalm 48:10

This can be one of the most difficult commands in the Bible - BE STILL. Be still? How can we settle ourselves down
when we have so much going on? For others it’s, “I wish things weren’t so still around here- I’m tired of being alone.” Whatever situation is yours, remember, the reward of following Psalm 46:10 is worth it! When we quiet our hearts
before the God of the universe, we can be humbled at just who He is. Though it may be awkward for some of us,
challenge yourselves to take 15 minutes or more of nothing but quiet. Reflect, meditate, think on Him. Mark 1:35

DAY FOURTEEN - March 9 (Tuesday) - INTERCESSION

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10

Call unto the Lord and pray for that relative, neighbor, or friend who is lost and ask the Lord to save
him from his sins.

DAY THIRTEEN - March 8 (Monday) - PETITION

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” - John 14:27

Lord, I trust You to fill me with Your perfect peace that passes understanding and guards my heart and
mind (Philippians 4:6-8). Show me how I am choosing to worry and fret instead of trusting You.

DAY TWELVE - March 7 (Sunday) - CONFESSION

"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and
offer your gift.” - Matthew 5:23-24

Can you think of people you may have hurt or offended? Are you bitter or holding grudges against other people
who have offended you? Are you involved in any improper relationships? Do you neglect regular fellowship and
meaningful service through our church? Are your family relationships consistent with God’s Word? Be honest
with God and yourself. God will give you the strength to change.

DAY ELEVEN - March 6 (Saturday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

“We bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. And we offer up to You the sacrifices of thanksgiving."

Pray that God will give us the resources to fulfill the mission He has called KBC to do.

DAY TEN - March 5 (Friday) - MEDITATION

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you
may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then
you will have good success.” -Joshua 1:8  - John 15:11

Think of your favorite verse of scripture today. If you don’t have one, go ahead and select one now. MEDITATE
on this word from God, realizing what a blessing it is to even have a copy of His Word to look at, and dwell upon.
Pray today, thanking Him for His Word and meditate on the verse which He’s placed in your heart as your favorite.

DAY NINE - March 4 (Thursday) - INTERCESSION

“Oh Lord. . . Revive thy works in the midst of the years." - Habakkuk 3:2

"O Lord, please send a revival to our church, home, community, state, and nation. Let it begin in me!"

DAY EIGHT - March 3 (Wednesday) - PETITION

THE FRUIT OF JOY
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” - John 15:11

Grant, O Lord, that I may be filled with joy as I commune with You and discover the treasures hidden in
Your Word. (Psalm 119:162).
Lord, I believe You can fill me with the supernatural joy that is unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8).
May I experience Your joy when I see a lost person receive Christ (Luke 15:7)
Show me how I fail to rejoice and give you praise at all times and in all circumstances (Philippians 4:4).

DAY SEVEN - March 2 (Tuesday) - CONFESSION

SINS OF SPEECH
“I say to you that for every idle word men may speak,they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” - Matthew 12:36

Some potential sins of speech are as follows: using course or profane words, gossip, slander, unkind or
unloving words to or about others, speech that is overly critical, speaking words that are exaggerations or
untruths, speaking when we should be quiet, etc.

Be specific in your confession. Be sensitive to the fact that God will lead you to apologize to people you have
hurt with your words.

DAY SIX - March 1 (Monday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

REJOICE! "I was glad when they said to me, 'let us go to the house of the Lord'" - Psalm 12:21

Give thanks for the opportunity of worship each and every week without any interference from the
government or any other source of conflict.

DAY FIVE - February 28 (Sunday) - MEDITATION

“…whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is
anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” - Philippians 4:8

The Lord tells us to meditate on these things because these words are Him!  Psalm 23:7 says we are what
we think!  When we think the opposite it makes us look like “the old self.”  But because we are transformed and
we are “new creations,” we should dwell on these things. Pray today asking the Lord to help you think about Him
and how you represent Him.

DAY FOUR - February 27 (Saturaday) - INTERCESSION

“Let us therefore come boldy unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in
time of need." - Hebrews 4:16

“I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.
My own wisdom and that of all about me seems insufficient for the day.” - Abraham Lincoln

DAY THREE - February 26 (Friday) - PETITION

THE FRUIT OF LOVE
Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, and with all your mind...and...You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” - Matthew 22:37-39   

Father I ask You to fill me with a deep love for You (Romans 5:5). Grant that my love for You be
passionate and not lukewarm (Revelation 3:15). Please fill me with a powerful love for things that further your
Kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Endue me with a love for lost persons and a passion to grow Your church. Fill me
with a burning love for serving You. Baptize me with a selfless, compassionate love for my family and for
those I meet each day.  Show me how I have failed in this—how do I need to change?

DAY TWO - February 25 (Thursday) - CONFESSION

SINS OF THOUGHT
“...casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringingevery thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”  - II Corinthians 10:5   

As you examine your thought life, you should ask yourself the following question: Are there unclean or
lustful thoughts, thoughts that are consumed with earthly pursuits, thoughts of anger and bitterness, thoughts
of fear and doubt, attitudes of pride and prejudice, attitudes of lukewarmness toward God?      

Ask God to reveal any pattern of attitude or thought that is sinful. Immediately confess and forsake these
sins of the heart.

DAY ONE - February 24 (Wednesday) - PRAISE & WORSHIP

WORSHIP is encountering God, knowing and experiencing who He is, giving thanks and praise for what
He has done, loving the people He loves, and daily doing what He says.

“Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”  - Deuteronomy 6:5
